Dédée Bazile : ウィキペディア英語版 | Dédée Bazile Marie Sainte Dédée Bazile (fl. 1806), known as ''Défilée'' and ''Défilée-La-Folle'', is a figure of the Haitian revolution. She is counted as one of the symbols of the revolution. Dédée Bazile was born a slave and followed the army of Dessalines as a peddler. According to legend, she became insane after having lost her sons in battle. She was a fanatic admirer of Dessalines, and after his death, she gathered his remains in a sack and transported them to Cimetière Intérieur in Port-au-Prince to bury them.
